Our project is related to electric savings and efficiency and water consumption - water conservation.
The other topics of project are alternate energy resources, climate change, global warming, water management, the water sports, exploring the nature (outdoor learning), biodiversity. Our project will create awareness of these issues. We want our students to explore and know more about nature with five senses for a more sensitive youth, sustainable natural environment and for a great contribution to their curriculum. We aim to provide our students solution to environmental problems by experiencing matters instead of theoretical learning.
In the project, there will be creative workshops, art, open-air activities, exhibitions, hiking and a lot of entertaining activities. Throughout the project, we will find out how to improve the quality of water consumption and water conservation in the 1st year and in the 2nd year - energy savings and efficiency.
The project is related to English, geography, environmental science, biology, health education, physical education, IT, mathematics, literature and art. It will improve students’ communication and problem solving skills, decision making, team building, leadership and presentation skills. Teachers will enhance the ability of using the teaching methods, experience and language skills.
Besides, during the meetings each country will have the opportunity to shortly introduce its school, region, festivals, valuable mines if there are. By this means, each country will have detailed information about other countries.
At the end of the project, two online newspapers, a fish glossary and a film will come into existence. These outcomes will be stored in the web site.
